We had dinner here last night. Husband had tomato soup which he really enjoyed and then we had home made ravioli. He had the diavalo spicy sauce one. Delicious. I had the salmon in dill sauce. Great friendly service and nice atmosphere in the restaurant

My experience in this hotel was back in Oct 2024. Originally i planned to have a short trip to Europe mainly for the football match friendly between Liechtenstein and Hong Kong. I found this the best opportunity to visit my friend (Hongkonger) who has been living in Swiss, specifically this hotel for a few years as she’s married to the owner of this hotel. After visiting Zurich, Colmar, Eguisheim, Strasbourg, I took the train to Samedan and my friend and her husband came to the station and picked me up. Although I arrived late night, they were so kind and drove me back to hotel when there were still customers in the restaurant. Besides, I was served with a couple of dishes as well as beers and wines! Dishes are very delicious and I believe the chef here is one of the best in Swiss. The next morning, I was served with traditional Swiss breakfast. As my friend and her husband had some free time before restaurant opens that day and therefore they spent time taking me up the mountain via tram. Stunning view I would say at the peak! We had the lunch at a restaurant there and then we returned to hotel afterwards. Before I left for Zurich to take the flight back to Hong Kong, I was again served with nice soup and also the classic Swiss drink called Ovomaltine (or Ovaltine in English). Owner’s mum had tried to showcase the use of the Ovomaltine machine to produce the Ovomaltine. In fact, this machine has over 60 years of history and it’s my honour to taste the Ovomaltine produced from this machine. Although I could only spend one day there, it’s for sure one of my best hotel experiences in Europe (you may argue we are friends but I know she and her husband and also his parents do have good attitude on everything and they are super nice and kind) and I would highly recommend you all when you visit Samedan.

Michelin-starred experience in a lovely local setting. We have tried the exceptional Engadiner Gerstensuppe, the chopped veal with Rösti and the Entrecôte with ravioli and it was phenomenal. Having dined in world-class and Michelin starred restaurants, we know what we are talking about. Huge compliments.

The food is clearly prepared with a lot of care and attention to detail which results in a tasty experience. A welcome change form all the pizzerias in the area.

Best Ravioli I have ever eaten ! The service is great and the owner is the sweetest lady we have met during our visit in Samedan. She made us visit the Stuvä and the main dining room telling us about the authentic Engadiner homes.

Amazing food and amazing experience thanks to Juliana. She made our time so special. The ravioli was the best I’ve ever had - it was hard to choose a favorite (we all ended up sharing our dinner) would 100% recommend on your next trip to Switzerland. Also location and building is so quaint.

This is one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had in Switzerland. Juliana was one of the main reasons for the amazing time. So kind with incredible hospitality. The ravioli is also homemade and the bomb!
